Children & Youth

The times they are a-changin’! St. Bede’s is adapting Children’s & Youth Ministry to meet the needs of families during the pandemic. To stay up-to-date, subscribe to Infinite, the Children’s & Youth Ministry newsletter that goes out every other Monday. Don’t hesitate to email Brendan Deocariza-Nee, the Children’s & Youth Minister, with questions, suggestions, or conversation.

We’re grateful to partner with St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Palo Alto for virtual fun and fellowship as we continue to shelter-in-place.

Children’s Chapel & Bede’s Reads (Grades K – 4)

From our friends at St. Mark’s comes Children’s Chapel, a weekly offering of Bible stories and reflections for children in kindergarten through 4th grade. Find the videos on YouTube.

Bede’s Reads is virtual storytime with members of the St. Bede’s community. Due to copyright and open license agreements, we need to be careful about when and how we share the videos. Email Brendan for the link to the unlisted YouTube playlist.

Youth Fellowship (Grades 5 – 12)

In partnership with St. Mark’s, Zoom youth group (“Zooth Group”) is Sundays at 11:15 a.m. Join us for 45 minutes of prayer, exploration, and fellowship. Email Brendan for the Zoom link.

Beloved Community

We enthusiastically embrace the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s vision of a Beloved Community based on justice, equal opportunity, and love of one’s fellow human beings. We live into this vision through learning, reflection, and service. Check out the parish calendar for upcoming volunteer opportunities and visit our Beloved Community page for additional resources.
